it was bad coz i got a crap locker, they got rid of my Common room and i have a dodgy timetable!
it was good coz i was going a bit stir crazy in my house in the sticks, and i got to see people that i haddn't seen since last november!

i just got back from work and thought i'd do a post...
work was good, a bit busy now that the regulars are coming back.
today i achieved the impossible, and successfully completed the "Zombie Genocide" Achievement for Dead Rising (killed 53,600 Zombies), any one who has played Dead Rising knows how hard that was for me...

today was my first day back at the fish & chip shop (it was closed for the last 3 weeks) so i thought i'd share some of the storys that you may not have been told...
there are 8 people at the fish & chip shop:
Nonda (boss)
George (bosses friend)
Nicki (Bosses wife)
Effie (George's niece)
Sam (think 18 year old Dr. Cox from Scrubs)
Rob (sams friend, not their any more...)
Ileash (random new girl, referred to as "Elle")
Tom (thats me)
ok, first story:
today me and Sam were letting Elle and the new guy who isn't on the list yet coz it was his first day do the work while we talk about crap,
eventually we worked out that if the fish & chip shop were Scrubs then:
Sam is Dr. Cox
i am JD
Effie is Carrla
the new guy is Doug (nervous guy)
and that Ileash is a cross between Elliot and the Janitor.
we didn't bother doing the "senior folk"
next story:
Ileash started work just before Christmas with another girl call "Reannan". there two names were unpronounceable to the greek folk that work there so they were re-named "Elle" and "Ree"...
anyway, i then trained both of them to a level of greatness similar to my own, then 3 weeks ago Elle stoped turning up (she was kid-napped by pirates who tried to sell her on the slave trade, she was rescued by Mi5 on wednesday... but we only found that out today...). then the following sunday Reannan disappeared, her disappearance was more boring as she called two days ago to say she quit (hence her removal form the list...)

3.the best good Zombie is one thats been hit by a park bench
4.that killing 53,594 Zombies within a 8 hour time limit for only 20GP may be more trouble then its worth...
5.that i spent to much time playing Dead Rising today...

1. we got a new puppy. his name is Isaac he's only 10 weeks old.
2. we got a new Car! coz the one we had (99 hyndi) was teh loose, the new one is a Honda CRV and is teh win.
thats just about all thats new...

today we had the christmas breakup thing at work. we went and played golf near Moe...
it roxed my sox. my team ended 2 over par and tied for second. that was the boring bit
the fun bit was the the golf carts, we had a couple of golf cart races i won the one where we raced in reverse.
thats about it...

due to boredom i will now update regularly... (its also fun)
and just so you know, my last name (O'Dowd) has NO silent letters, it is pronounced
"o-dow-d" just coz i'm Irish is no reason to be all prejudiced about it....
in response to someones commment about my brother i give you an amuseing anecdote:
about 3 weeks ago Paul (his name by the way) was waiting for Mum to pick him up at the fish and chip shop when dhe dropped me off. when he walked in, everyone thought he was me. Nonda (bos) was confused as to why he/I was sitting at the table insted of starting work and so he tried to talk to Paul. the combination of Pauls Asbergers and Nondas heavy Greek accent ment both were INCREDIBLY confused both in about 30 seconds.
this continued for about 5-10 minutes by now involving the intie occupents of the shop (customers inclueded) untill i walk in and useing my mighty comunication skills sort it out in about 10 seconds.
p.s. it took 5 more minutes to explain to Paul that Mum was wiating up the road in the car.
now, today two fun things happened.
the first was that the safty catch on the magazine fed nail gun broke allowing it to be fired like a gun, so we spent most of the morning firing nails into a large sheet of plaster board, FUUUUUUUNNNNNNN!!!!!
second, coz there is a company golf game on thursday so we went to a driving range,
i hit the 200 meter sign!
